Meghan

Meghan Dianne entered the world last Wednesday, August the 4th at 6:03 pm, weighing 7 lbs oz, measuring 19 & 1/4 inches long, and perfect. I had the absolute pleasure of being there and photographing one of God's greatest miracles: Meghan's birth. Meghan's momma is my cousin, Heidi (below are Meghan and first-time momma, seconds after birth). I adore this photograph, and even after seeing it so many times, it still makes me cry.

At Heidi's baby shower, I told her I would do a newborn photoshoot as a gift, so here are my favorites from our newborn session on Sunday. I love every square inch of this baby; her mass of dark brown hair, blueberry eyes, and funny faces make her quite the perfect little character.

Meghan got to meet her great-grandmother for the first time on Sunday, too (actually she met a lot more of her family, but I especially love these 2 photos). This moment was so special.
